Art Spring is Done!
It's been a whirlwind 10 days; the Strawberry Festival for four days and Art Spring the following weekend. In between, in my "normal" life, I got two kid goats!
The Strawberry Festival was financially adequate but a resounding success for networking, education, and making new friends. I don't think I'll do it next year; we'll see.
Art Spring was fantastic on all fronts well run with artists that frankly intimidated me with their talent. New friendships again and renewed/strengthened old ones. Denise Heckel of Studio D Pottery & jewelry was on hand as my 'neighbor.' If you remember she shared second place with me at the Ramps & Rails Festival. Her work can also be seen at Artists at Work in Elkins. She's been a great help sharing her experience.
Sara Golden was another artist who was most encouraging. Find her work at Artistry on Main.
There were others whose cards I sadly didn't get but a big thanks to them as well!
Now I'm taking a two week break before the BBQ Bash in Weston on the 15th & 16th of June.
